Don't Shake Your Fruit Tree (Part 1)

Hello all at GWOD,

Wow, how do I put today's service into words! Well, with God directing my fingers to type, here we go. It began with prayer and as Eldress Jefferson was transitioning from the prayer and moving in the Spirit, she told us of a dream she had. In her dream was a tree with fruit on it. At first they looked like grapefruit but they were really oranges. She was told not to shake the tree, stating that this fruit represented her labor, her ministry, a Word from God letting her know not to shake the tree or the fruit could fall off. Pastor interpreted the meaning of this dream later in the service which I will get to later!

Then God immediately moved on Minister Esther after she read Psalm 27:1-6 and she began to prophesy letting us know that God wanted to move freely among us, "So lay down whatever is hindering you, have joy, praise Him and be joyful no matter what has happened or what is going on. He wants the best for you, He wants to Bless you."

Eldress Mary continued on with praise and began to teach the lesson from John 17:6-21. She mentioned that we come to church to lift up Jesus and then He elevates us. She called out, "Saturate me Jesus, I don't want to be the same." We all shouted out those same words from our hearts. She asked the question, "How can we identify Christian unity in the church." The answer was in our love for one another, love for Jesus, and working together in unity. She pointed out that the disciples that Jesus was praying for were not accidental followers, they belonged to Jesus and the Father. May I say the same is true for us today, God chose us, it is not by accident that we are followers of Jesus Christ, we belong to God! "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you." John 15:16

Well, Pastor was being stirred up by God and could not keep it in any longer, so she got up and what can I say except that we were all "Saturated" with a rich word direct from God Himself which I will get into below. So church, if we receive this word and act upon it, we will not be the same. Sis. Mary's request was instantly answered not only for her, but also for us and we were Blessed by God as He moved freely in His Word to us. Thank you God for Blessing us today. Thank you for moving freely through Pastor Crowder and our ministers to speak to us so clearly. I pray that He will be able to move through each one of us freely, using all of us mightily.

We know that when Pastor gets up something is going to happen! There is never a dull moment. Why is this, it is because she gets the information directly from God by the Holy Ghost. She explained that she does not get it from the internet but goes to the Word herself and God speaks. Also if she doesn't get it from the Word at that point in time she will just listen and He drops it into her. Last week I did a word search on pray, prayer, supplication, and intercession by typing these words into a Bible search page and came up with all of the scriptures containing these words. As I read them, I was praying for Wisdom and direction. I came out saturated in His Word. He will speak to us in different ways because He created each of us very uniquely. He knows how to speak to each one of us in His own way and it will always line up with the Word, the Bible. He is the Word.

Here is the Lord's Prayer from John 17:1-21, enjoy and rejoice.

"These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. 10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. 11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. 13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. 20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me."
Now Pastor made these scriptures clear by saying that Jesus:
1. Confirmed their position. She explained how this relates to each of us. He has placed us in a place already; if it is peace, we are in that place now; if it is joy, we are in that place now. He wants us to be joyous in this place today, as was prophesied to us today.
2. Gave them unity, unified in Him. We are unified in Him, today the joy of the Lord is our strength. Today we are unified through His joy in us.
3. Gave them joy. What are you waiting on, it is there, just "pick up" your joy and use it.
4. Protected them. He keeps you free from the wiles of the enemy. Two wiles "I can't" and "I don't know," and then we add on "Now I'm too old!" Jesus protects us from these wiles.
5. Sanctified and equipped them. Being sanctified and equipped, "We ought to tear up this place!"
Pastor Crowder went on to say that it is not by sight, but by faith. "Go here, go there, by faith. Get to a place where you do it by faith and not by sight. It is by faith, not by doubting. Joy by faith. We miss out on God because we are walking by sight and not by faith."
The war is over, believe it. Where I am you shall be also. "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." John 14:2-3.
Stay up in the Spirit by prayer and fasting. And when He takes you higher into the heavenly places, don't sit down! Keep moving with Him.
I want to get into Pastor's interpretation of Eldress Jefferson's dream and the "crucifixion" we go through as God is making us ready to serve Him. It is detailed and exciting so I will continue this in Part 2.
Be encouraged saints and keep praying, interceding, and stay in a place of joyfulness. Stay in the place where God has you right now until He shows you your next assignment.  Love you much.
Love,
Sis. Jane

Intercessory Prayer Check!

Hello all at GWOD,

I thank God for all of you. How is your intercessory prayer going? Are you spending a few minutes in prayer or have you made it a priority in your life to really set aside a significant time frame for interceding? Did you start out strong and now it is waning a bit or is it catching on fire, causing you to desire even more fervency in praying for others? We have many and much to pray for at GWOD, in our families, and in our outreach, while at the same time not leaving out praying for our nation, all nations tongues and tribes, global leaders, and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ would be spread throughout the world. And don't leave yourself out, it is necessary to pray for your own needs too.

As we're waiting on further instructions in our outreach, we can be interceding fervently for our families, for everybody at GWOD, for those people that we are now reaching out to, and for those people that we will soon be reaching out to. Pray for God's way of carrying out each endeavor and that He would raise us up as mighty laborers and harvesters. Pray that God would open up doors for us and that He will show us His will. Pray for the deliverance, healing, and salvation of all people we are now in contact with and for those we will be coming in contact with. Pray this also for the lost people throughout the world whom we will never physically see or come in contact with. Pray for unity in the body of Christ not only in our immediate surroundings but world wide too.

I'm praying for the bigger picture: "Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD. 2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; 3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited." Isaiah 54:1-3.

Really if we do a heart search, we are not where God wants us to be with intercessory praying yet, so let's fan the flames with some Holy Ghost wind and get the fire blazing in us and spreading out. God will respond exceedingly and abundantly beyond our greatest expectations! He is able. Remember to start out your prayers acknowledging Him first, who He is, how Great He is, and loving Him, and don't forget to thank Him, all in Jesus Name. Love you much.

Love, Sis. Jane

Get Into Intercessory Prayer

Hello everybody,

I am so encouraged from our study on prayer today. We studied Luke 11:1-13 "And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said to him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. 2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. 3Give us day by day our daily bread. 4And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. 5And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; 6For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? 7And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. 8I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. 9And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 11If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?"

In these scriptures Jesus gave us a model for prayer and instructions on how to be persistent in prayer. Eldress Ollie spoke many words to encourage us in each aspect of the Lord's Prayer. What stood out the most was her comparison of verses 5-8 to our outreach for souls. "They are crying, they are knocking on the door. Help them and give them their portion.  Be open, ready, and hospitable in providing food and drink no matter what time of day or night. Give them their portion of the Word and show them how to receive the Holy Ghost (the anointing)."

Pastor Crowder exhorted us to "Pray until we intercede (intercessory prayer) and then wait on God. God will speak. When we receive no answer it is usually because we are begging with religious, long prayers. This is where many of us are right now and instead we need to get into intercessory prayer and watch what God will do! Wait on Him when you are in intercessory prayer, don't get up to soon and miss what He is saying. Listen to Him. This is where prophecy or a song will come forth."

Church, when Pastor lets us know where we are right now with prayer, it is important to act upon this word and correct our actions. I just did a word search on pray, prayer, supplication, and intercession. A wonderful example of intercessory prayer is found in Daniel 9. Go ahead and read it. By doing this word search, I was reminded of so many intercessors (and their prayers) such as Abraham, Moses, David, Hannah, Samuel, Soloman, Hezekiah, Elijah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, really all of the prophets, and Paul, just to name a few! Their prayers are written for an example to us. Our greatest Intercessor is Jesus. Not only is He our Intercessor, but because of His dying on the cross we can also intercede for others through Him by the Holy Ghost in us. How about His intercessory prayer for us in John 17 just before he was crucified. Read it and meditate on His Word. We are all called to be intercessors if we have the Holy Ghost in us. Here are more scriptures to encourage us in intercession:

"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time." 1 Tim 2:1-6.

Acts 12:5 "Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him." Let's intercede fervently for those in prison.

Eph 6:17-18 "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"

Rom 8:26-27 "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered. 27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God."

Rom 8:34 "Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."

Heb 7:25 "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them."

It profits to hear, read, and write about prayer but this is not actually praying! We must get into action. Let's all pray and intercede as God leads. Pray for the sick, pray for those going through trials, pray for those who have just lost loved ones, pray for our Pastor and Co Pastors, pray for all of the ministers and saints, pray for those who persecute us, pray for those in prison, pray for the Body of Christ, pray for our enemies, and pray for all men. Please get in there with the prayer and stay in the Holy of Holies interceding fervently and with perseverance until God speaks, remember to wait and listen, it is two way conversation. The more we pray like this the closer we grow in intimacy with God and the greater the results will be. We will be strong in Him and do exploits. Daniel 11:32b "But the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits."

And don't forget to praise Him and thank Him. Wasn't it wonderful how the glorious praise broke out during the offering today, after Pastor spoke about how praise lifts the heaviness off of people. I loved how God moved on us. Co Pastor Lane had the song and sang it so powerfully with her whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, blessing all of us. I'm believing God to move on Pastor Crowder and Co Pastor Lane, His mighty power strengthening and healing their bodies. So always praise God, it lifts the heavy weights off of you and others and frees each.

One more scripture to encourage us before praying, Isaiah 61:1-3 "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified." We have much and many to intercede for, so into the Holy of Holies we go. I love you all very much.

Love, Sis. Jane

Serve Like Jesus

Hello all at GWOD,

It is midnight right now and the fireworks are booming in the area.  It is a very interesting sound, but nothing like the sound of the jubilant and joyful praise that went up to God as we worshiped Him tonight at GWOD New Year's Eve service.  This praise and worship was much more exciting than any firework display could ever be, because nothing can match the fire of a Holy Ghost explosion and it pleases God that we are praising and worshiping Him.  I'm still feeling His Presence and Power and I know you all are too.

Let's thank God for every blessing and every trial that we experienced in 2014 because He is working it out for our good.  He is bringing a change for us at GWOD in 2015 and this will be "The Year of Dedicated Service for the Souls of Men."  It is important for us to be dedicated to community service for the Lord and Pastor Crowder prayed a prayer of dedication over us and the Wisdom to carry it out.

Co Pastor Lane put together a powerful PowerPoint presentation teaching us first of all that faith without works is dead. "What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?  If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?  Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone"  James 2:14-17.  She had a picture of a skeleton on its knees praying, this was dead faith.  We were asked, "Is your faith dead?"  Didn't you just want to speak to the dead bones in your life and prophesy life unto them!  Well, I speak right now to all of the dead bones that are in our midst, "Come alive and live and serve the Lord with gladness."  Our true calling is to be someone who meets both the spiritual and the physical needs of others, servants for the Lord.

Co Pastor Lane went on to say that our service to others must be consistent and caring.  Serving others is the work of the church, human beings among other human beings loving others as Jesus does. "Then shall they also answer him, saying, LORD, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?  Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal"  Matt 25:44-46.

So church, we must love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength and love our neighbors as ourselves.  Don't be double minded excusing yourself saying, "I don't even have enough for myself" or "I don't have enough time to help others," just tell the devil to get behind you, and listen to God's voice and serve Him by serving others.  It is not that we don't have enough, we have too much and are not giving it out to others.  When you are helping others with their physical and spiritual needs, give out the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance: against such there is no law!  The world is broken and people are hurting, angry, and helpless.  We have been encouraged to open our hearts and as we reach out God will move.  God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind.   By faith in God we are ___________ (we are to put our own answer in this blank space).

Co Pastor McCarty added that we are pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus and  forgetting those things which are behind, reaching forth unto those things which are before us.  Don't get stuck in what you didn't finish in 2014 but press toward the mark and go forward.  Jesus went and did the work, just do the work.  We can do it better when we work together. Pastor Crowder added that Joseph was a servant all of his life.  We are to serve.

Many shared what they are going to do to get out into the community and serve.  It was beautiful to see what God had put in the hearts of each.  We are truly pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.  Be Blessed and open your heart of love and compassion to others by asking yourself,  "How can I be of service to this person?"  God will show you how.  Then act upon it.  Be a doer of the Word.  I love you all very much.

Love,
Sis. Jane

It Will Be All Right

Hello all,

What a powerful service we had at GWOD again today (Sunday) and we are in awe of our God.  When God is in charge and our flesh is out of the way He does the miraculous among us.  Testimonies went forth of God's power in healing, saving, delivering and much more.  His Presence was strong and we have been refreshed.  In studying Matthew 14:22-36, it was brought forth by Eldress Ollie that Jesus is the Master who sends, the Intercessor who prays, and the Saviour who delivers.  As the teaching went forth there was an overwhelming response of awe and love expressed from each of us to Jesus and a breaking forth into singing "Jesus, I love you more than anything."  He responded and His love and compassion was poured out all over us.

Pastor Crowder made the lesson very clear for everybody by saying, "Like Peter, when we take our eyes off of Jesus and look at everything else around us (the billows, the rain, the wind) we miss the Lord.  Keep your eyes on Jesus."  She pointed out that God was working miracles on the water.  Jesus said "Come" and Peter walked but then he doubted.  "When we see God moving in our lives many times we doubt and don't believe His Word.  This is why many of us are not in awe of Him at all times, then we doubt and we stop!"

So church, let's keep our eyes on Jesus and not on our circumstances and by all means keep going and don't stop!  We don't want to miss God in what He is doing.  When He says "Come" we certainly do not want to be sitting in the boat wondering if it is really Jesus speaking, nor do we want to be stepping out onto the water with "little faith," and being full of doubt and fear because we're looking at all of the conditions happening around us instead of keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus and believing His Word.   Let's follow Jesus' example by getting alone in prayer first, then we can hear His voice and recognize that it is He, and we can step out in great faith to meet Him on the water as He is manifesting His miraculous power.  We will burst into worship and stand in reverence and in awe of Him just for who He is.  What a joy it is when He uses us as His vessels to bring others to Him.  Really He doesn't need us at all, but He chooses to use us!  Thank Him now!

The praise team worshiped and Minister Alvina sprang forth into more songs and prophesied, "It's going to be all right."  Pastor Crowder broke forth in the Spirit with more songs and deliverance was the result. Then Pastor Crowder gave us more Words of encouragement in the following Scriptures:

Psalm 31:20  Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man; thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.  God will keep the enemy off of you.

Psalm 62:8  Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.  He is a refuge for you, cry out to Him, trust Him.

Psalm 34:7  The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. The Lord is in our presence, he is delivering you.

Prov 14:26  In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge. We have strong confidence in Him with no fear or doubt; a reverence and awe of Him.  He is our refuge.

Prov 11:6  The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.  The upright shall be delivered.  Keep your eyes on Jesus, believe and obey His Word, and walk in the Spirit.

Psalm 7:10  My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.  Stay in the will of God.  God is going to do some great things.

Psalm 59:9  Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.  Wait upon the Lord because He is fighting for you.  He will do it.

2 Kings 17:39  But the LORD your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies. He will deliver you out of all of it, everything!   It is not what you want all of the time, but what He wants.  (Pastor calls this her "Book of comfort" she reads it often.)

Psalm 9:10  And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.  Put your trust in Him!  Seek Him!  He is your husbandman.

Psalm 31:23  O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.  Love Him and be faithful.  He will preserve and reward you, plentifully!

Psalm 20:6  Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.  God says, "I hear you, it will be all right."  His right hand = honor

We have eaten and are full with His Word so now don't just keep it for yourselves but spread it to others.  Remember to rejoice with those that are rejoicing and weep with those that are weeping (they need our prayers, love, strength, and support in this hour).  Pray one for another.  Love you very much.

Love, Sis. Jane

Glory to God in the Highest

Hello everybody,

What was it like that night when the angel appeared unto the shepherds and said, "Fear not; for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:10-11  They were given instructions that the babe would be wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. Suddenly, along with that angel, was a multitude of heavenly host praising God, saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." Luke 2:14  The shepherds went with haste to see the babe which the Lord had made known unto them and after seeing the babe they told many people (spread abroad) these things which had been spoken unto them concerning this child.  All that heard wondered about the things that the shepherds had told them.  Wondered is defined as having a feeling of surprise mingled with admiration, caused by something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar, or inexplicable.  The shepherds returned glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as it was told unto them.

So what does this mean for us today? We are the "shepherds" today proclaiming this good news to many.  God has spoken to us through His Son and we have direct access to God through this babe Jesus, by His Spirit living in us.  Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. So what are you waiting for?  Let's get busy and spread abroad this good news that Jesus is the Christ who was born of a virgin, suffered, died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and rose again so that we could have eternal life through Him.  Those listening will wonder at what they have just heard and will either receive Him believing and confessing Jesus as their Lord and Saviour or reject Him.  Our job is to spread the news so they can hear.  "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3:16-17

In downtown Houston today as I was about to get into my car to return home, suddenly there was a multitude of loud beautiful church bells ringing and echoing from building to building spreading this good news by ringing a praise song speaking of our Saviour: "Joy to the world the Lord is come; let earth receive her King; let every heart prepare him room, and heaven and nature sing..."  This was the most beautiful thing to hear with the different pitched joy bell sounds bouncing from one tall building and echoing to another, joyously ringing in honor of our Saviour, in the air throughout all of downtown Houston.  I was caught up in the Spirit due to the beautiful sounds and started praising God.  Now if the bells can ring praises for all to hear, how much more you and I with our mouths!  This was a joyous celebration and I'm sure many nonbelievers heard it and wondered!  Let's pray that many will be saved and pray that God will use us to bring many souls unto Him.

"And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ.  This is the true God and eternal life." 1 John 5:20

Have a Blessed Christmas, love and worship God, study His Word, pray one for another, and remember to pour out His love to others in words and deeds reaching out further in His love. Don't forget to give Him the Glory and thank Him out loud!  I love all of you dearly.

Love,
Sis. Jane

Sing Unto the Lord

Hello all at GWOD,

I hope this day finds each of you singing unto the Lord and making a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation Jesus Christ.  One thing that is certain is that the world is singing and making a noise and sometimes it is even a joyful noise, but the important question to ask is, "Is it unto the Lord?"  I can tell you that most often it is not and truly confessing Jesus as Lord is not on the minds or in the hearts of most people and unfortunately this is true of some church goers too.  That is why it is so important for us to reach out wherever and whenever as led by the Holy Ghost to let all people know about Jesus and His grace and redemption.  There is no other way to heaven.  Let's make sure we are being obedient to God in every area of our own lives by the Spirit so as to be living epistles of Christ known and read of all men.  So we must sanctify the Lord God in our hearts and be clean and ready at all times to give an answer to every person that asks.  Show them the hope of salvation that is in you by pointing them to Jesus. Help them to understand how to be filled with the Holy Ghost and how to worship God with their lives, their voices, their actions, their deeds, their tithes, their offerings, their prayers, and much more, leading them into obedience to His Word just as we ourselves have been taught and led by the Spirit.

So we are singing unto the Lord, making a joyful noise unto the rock of our salvation, and worshiping Jesus daily because He is God.  If he were just a prophet as some people like to say, then we would not be worshiping him because he would only be a man.  We are to worship God only.  Scripture says: "But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom." Heb 1:8.  Jesus is God and we worship God with all of our strength and might.

God has spoken to us this week through Psalm 95:1-7a. "O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.  Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.  For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.  In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.  The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.  O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.  For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand."

What powerful words to meditate on and put into action.  Worship Him now in Spirit and in truth and rejoice for He is our Great God.  He has everything in His hands.  Don't worry, be sad, or complain but rather Burst into a jubilant song unto Him and be thankful for His Word and instructions each day.   Love God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength.  All of these actions please Him and He will respond.  Remember to forgive one another (70x7 eternal forgiveness) and ask God to forgive you.  Love others as yourselves and look to the needs of the hurting people all around you.  Let God use you to bring comfort and peace into their lives, He will take care of you at the same time.   I am thankful for all of you and love all of you very much.

Love,
Sis. Jane

Worship Jesus

Hello all at GWOD,

It was so nice to see the new children at church worshiping Jesus at the end of the service today. Many of them expressed joy and freedom as they were crossing the floor clapping their hands and praising God.  Thank God for the little children.  It reminded me of Psalm 8:1-2  "O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger."

The Sunday school discussion about angels could not bring forth worship nor could it bring deliverance or free anyone because angels have no power or deliverance in and of themselves. When the discussion shifted off of the angels and unto Jesus the Creator of all things, the worship sprang forth and the King of Glory Himself stepped in with power to heal, save, and deliver.  Jesus Christ is on the Throne ruling and He alone deserves our worship.  His obedient angels hearken to the voice of His Word and do His bidding, they worship Him too.  So let's worship Jesus and Bless Him.  Do it now!  Jesus is God and that is why we worship Him. People, angels, and things should never be worshiped.  "Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.  Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of His dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul." Psalm 103:20-21

Bless Him again.  Yes, Bless Him.  He rules and reigns.  He will show up all by Himself and if He desires He could bring legions of His angels with Him.  It is up to Him.  They will obey His voice.  How much more should we obey His voice.  Pastor Crowder was hearkening unto the voice of the Lord and blessed us with a deep understanding of the following Scriptures.  I would like to suggest that each of you seek His face in these Scriptures once again and see what He is exhorting us to do and then act on it. This Word came to us under the anointing and it is for our good and the good of the Body at GWOD.  Take this Word and spread it to others outside our church in need.  Hearken diligently unto His Word and remember it.  Hearken means to listen with the intent to act upon the message given, in other words to apply His Word into our lives with perseverance.

Prov 3:21-26  "My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.  When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.  For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken."  So keep our minds clear, keep standing, stay in the will of God.  Remember the devil is an "old dictator" and a liar,  don't listen to him. Stay right with God and trust Him.

Acts 24:16 "And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men."  Stay right before God and man.

Heb 9:14 "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" This is how to stay right before God and man.

Phil 4:11-16 "Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.  Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.  Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.  For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity."  Shout: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me!  Be content with what you have.

Prov 17:1 Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than a house full of sacrifices with strife."  Give God praise and be content with what you have.  The presence of God is with you.

Luke 12:16-21 "And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.  And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee; then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?  So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."  This is what a greedy person does, he is not content. Instead be rich toward God.

Prov 30:8-11 "Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.  Accuse not a servant unto his master, lest he curse thee, and thou be found guilty.  There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother."  People in this state begin to deny God, curse, and steal.

Psalm 73:23-25 "Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.  Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but thee and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee."  God is telling us he will talk with us, lead us, and guide us.  Give yourself to Him every morning. Hear and obey His voice.  If gloom comes over you give yourself to Him.

2 Cor 9:8 "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work."  He will Bless us.

Now GWOD we must all act upon this Word. What are you going to do based on these Scriptures? Worship Him now and He will direct you.  I loved the song during the offering, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you."  Be blessed and Be a blesser too and do not fear.  Be content and spread God's provision and love to others!  I love all of you.

Love, Sis. Jane

Present With God

Hello everybody,

I'm thanking God for all of you this morning and praying for all.  Thank you for your love, your faith, your patience and hope in Christ Jesus.  God has chosen us as His elect, how powerful is that!  He chose us.

So as encouragement today let's enter into His peace in this present moment.  Be in the present moment with Him.  No need to wonder or wander in your mind about what might happen in the future, nor to obsess about what already happened in the past.  Just stay in the present and enjoy His Presence and Peace for your situation.  What you worry about in the future will not even happen the way you are obsessing about it and no need to worry about what happened yesterday or in the past,  God has already taken care of it.  Be present with Him today.  If you are in pain, be present with Him and watch what He does with that pain, it dissipates because He is a Loving and all Consuming God.  Enter and stay in the "now" with Him and experience His Peace for your lives.

Love,

Sis. Jane

Shake Yourself

Hello all at GWOD,

WOW, the Breaker came in like a bolt of lightening and proved Himself strong at GWOD today (Sunday).  For all who were not present today or maybe just not understanding, all He wanted from us was song and praise.  He has freed us and wanted us to just "Burst through" into his Joy and Blessings receiving this peacefully with no enemy chasing us and then enjoying His Joy, a Rejoicing (Re-Joy-sing!) this causing an even more Radical Praise to Break forth from us!   It took some time for the Body to recognize this but finally most joined in.  However, most is not enough. He wants all of us to join in.  It is not too late, Praise Him now and receive what He has for you.  Did you hear it?  I'll say it again!  Praise Him now and receive what He has for you.  Receive the Living Water, be filled with the Holy Ghost and receive His abundant supply of Provision and Blessings for your every need. The captivity is over.  Let Him Reign. The Scriptures we studied were from Isaiah 52:1-2, 7-12.  Go ahead and read them again and let Him Break in.

"Awake, Awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.  Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.  How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.  Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem:for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.  The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.  Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD. For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward."

God's Word today reminds me of the promise in Micah 2:12-13 I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold; they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.  The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed  through the gate, and are gone out by it:  and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.

So the message passed from the mouths of Minister Sorrell, to Co Pastor Lane, to Minister Lane, to Sis. Jefferson, and others and then the "Break Through" happened as Pastor Crowder was making clear everything God was saying to us and showing us what He has already done for us.  He just wants us to receive Him and everything He has for us: His Deliverance, His Strength, His White Linen Clothes, His Comfort, His Provision, His Guidance, His Protection (front and back!)  So now Awake army of GWOD, shake yourselves from the dust, put on His strength, loose the bands of your neck, you are no longer captive! Move past the "brown mule" and get on your White horse of Victory He has for you.  Jesus suffered, bled, died, and rose again to prepare the way for you.  So receive Him, receive His Blessings and the Mansion of provision for your every need specially prepared for you here on this earth as it is in heaven.  Did you hear the feet running today with God's message of good tidings, peace, and salvation.  So break forth GWOD into song and praise again right now and every day and give Him the Radical Praise and Thanksgiving He alone deserves.  When you recognize another "waste place" that needs immediate attention, this could be anything or anybody, always remember you are His vessel and you do not need to go by haste or flight and please do not hide under the juniper tree, but pass through the gate for the LORD will go before you and He will be your rereward.  He will direct you in what needs to be done in yourself and in helping others to be saved.  Bless Him, go ahead, Bless Him now, your enemy has been scattered.  Did you hear Pastor Crowder's words today?  "God is building you up now and He has brought you out of bondage."  Some of you are saying 'Well, I don't see it.'  Just Believe His Word, shake the dust off, arise (get up!) and sit down (rest in His Power!) and Praise Him and see His Salvation.  As Co Pastor McCarty pointed out, if the dust is on a clean surface then the dust can be easily shaken off.  If the dust sits for a time on a surface it becomes crusty and needs to be washed off.  So shake it off immediately and stay clean.

I love you all very much.  Let's remember to get to know each other better.  Did you speak with others today to get to know them better?  How about your own family?  Did you speak with strangers this week and show the love of God?  I'm working on it and I really need your help and God's help with this.  Come and talk to me too!  I am grateful for all of you.

Praying for all in Jesus Name.  Remember to diligently seek Him.  He is the I AM.   Stay in His love and anointing and spread it to others.

Love,
Sis. Jane
