Intercessory Prayer Check!

Hello all at GWOD,

I thank God for all of you. How is your intercessory prayer going? Are you spending a few minutes in prayer or have you made it a priority in your life to really set aside a significant time frame for interceding? Did you start out strong and now it is waning a bit or is it catching on fire, causing you to desire even more fervency in praying for others? We have many and much to pray for at GWOD, in our families, and in our outreach, while at the same time not leaving out praying for our nation, all nations tongues and tribes, global leaders, and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ would be spread throughout the world. And don't leave yourself out, it is necessary to pray for your own needs too.

As we're waiting on further instructions in our outreach, we can be interceding fervently for our families, for everybody at GWOD, for those people that we are now reaching out to, and for those people that we will soon be reaching out to. Pray for God's way of carrying out each endeavor and that He would raise us up as mighty laborers and harvesters. Pray that God would open up doors for us and that He will show us His will. Pray for the deliverance, healing, and salvation of all people we are now in contact with and for those we will be coming in contact with. Pray this also for the lost people throughout the world whom we will never physically see or come in contact with. Pray for unity in the body of Christ not only in our immediate surroundings but world wide too.

I'm praying for the bigger picture: "Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD. 2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; 3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited." Isaiah 54:1-3.

Really if we do a heart search, we are not where God wants us to be with intercessory praying yet, so let's fan the flames with some Holy Ghost wind and get the fire blazing in us and spreading out. God will respond exceedingly and abundantly beyond our greatest expectations! He is able. Remember to start out your prayers acknowledging Him first, who He is, how Great He is, and loving Him, and don't forget to thank Him, all in Jesus Name. Love you much.

Love, Sis. Jane
