Evelyn Henderson has been a member of God’s Word of Deliverance since the church was established. She’s worked as a Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Pastor’s Aide, Choir Member, Assistant Church Secretary and Board Member. She works where needed or sees a need. She currently holds the office of Business Administrator for God’s Word of Deliverance and has faithfully held the position for 25 years. She has been married to Lenneth Henderson for 11 years and have a blended family of six children and two godsons. She was given the name “Mama Evel,” after taking in her sister’s children after her death. Because she has always had a desire to help young people, she is known by “Mama Evel” to her children’s friends. She’ll help any young person in whatever way she can to reach their full potential.
