Do You Need a Physician?

Hello Everybody at GWOD,

Once again God has taken us into His Glory and Truth in deliverance, and so High today that it quickly effected a change in each of our souls (mind, will, and emotions) and in our whole body and Spirit too. There is just no guessing what He will do next! Watch out though, this still is just the beginning or shall I say a sample of what He is about to do here at GWOD and in our lives to show us His Truth, Power, and Glory. When He takes us this High into His Glory we'd better keep pressing in by faith, seeking His Face, because there is no end to His Power and Glory that He freely wants to display here on this earth all by Himself and also through us. He is the only One that can, may I say, "show off." He is Truth and in Him is no lie, so let Him have His Way.

Eldress Ollie taught a wonderful lesson from John 1:29-34 "The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. 31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. 32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God." To sum up the lesson, John, who was filled with the Holy Ghost even from his mother's womb (Luke 1:15) was sent by God to prepare the way for Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God, the Son of God, who by His death, burial, and resurrection has given us eternal life and power when He baptizes us with the Holy Ghost. John baptized with water (a baptism of repentance), but Jesus baptizes us with His Spirit, the Holy Ghost (Christ in us), see Acts 19:4-6.

Now this teaching set the stage for many powerful testimonies to come forth including a word from Elder Sorrell saying that we should hold our peace and let God fight the battle, while at the same time making sure we have our fruit (the fruit of the Spirit) to bring somebody else out too. Eldress Pam encouraged us to "Behold God" on a daily basis, not religion but a relationship. There were more testimonies and then God then moved on Co Pastor Lane and she began to preach a powerful message that God had spoken to her over the last few days. This message was for all of us. I would suggest that you get a CD of this powerful word. I will do my best to sum up the message below.

She began by saying that some of us are spiritually minded but not getting filled with the Holy Ghost, explaining that the Holy Ghost thrives and blesses everything He touches. She asked the questions, "Are you thriving? Do you need a physician?" She gave us Matt 9:10-13 "And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? 12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. 13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." She went on to say that there are areas in us that are not whole and we really do not know Him. "But why is our faith lacking in some of us?" When she asked that question, I was reminded of Rom 14:23 "...for whatsoever is not of faith is sin." Oh, I definitely need the Physician (Jesus) and if I am sick in my body or mind I may also need the advice and help of a physician or a doctor who is trained in these fields. God has equipped and ordained these people for us to call upon, of course only after seeking Him first. He will direct us as to which doctor is right and He will guide that doctor as well.

She continued with 3 John 1-2 "The elder unto the well beloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth. 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." Prosper means to thrive, flourish, develop vigorously. So we all need to ask ourselves the questions "Am I growing in the natural? Am I growing in the Spirit?" If our soul (mind, will, and emotions) is not prospering, ask yourself "What is wrong with my soul?" She explained that the will is the center of control for us. We can be stubborn and this is a rebellious spirit. This means that your will is not yet broken and the adversary (devil) still has control of your soul; you are out of balance in certain situations. Give your will over to God. Some of us don't give our wills over to God because we feel we may lose control and this "control" is how we have held ourselves together for all of these years!

Co Pastor Lane mentioned the lunatic in the Bible (Mark 5, Matt 17:15) and stated that emotional upsets let other demons come in and control you. These emotional upsets happened when you were a child, at a time when you were the most vulnerable. The first spirit to enter is a stubborn will or a strong will. This spirit of stubbornness causes you to say things such as, "I'm never ever going to let this (hunger, abuse, homelessness, rejection, not being loved, etc) happen to me again." To fix this you have to rebuke that spirit and say, "I don't want this in my life anymore." You may wonder what is going to happen to you if you lose that spirit? Well, God will take over! If you don't rebuke that spirit, you will continue to doubt others and not trust anybody. This is all due to the fact that you don't want anyone to do what was done to you earlier in your childhood. If you are having difficulty in making decisions for your life, just listen to the Holy Ghost. He will talk to you and direct you in the right decisions for your life. Don't struggle and worry over it, instead "Behold the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sin of the world." Follow the first instruction that you receive from God.

If you are not flourishing ask God, "Why am I not flourishing vigorously?" Is it childhood memories of being hungry, homelessness, abuse, Momma loving them more than me, where was Daddy, or parents fighting and beating each other? But today is a day of deliverance, "Behold the Lamb of God." Isaiah 53:3-5 "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

After the stubborn spirit enters in then comes along anger and self pity! Nothing makes you happy because you have to control it all (lack of trust). This is because the childhood wounds let the devil crawl in, but God died for us so that we could be reconciled back to Him. He has Mercy on you and does not cut you off (read Matt 9:13 again). He loves you. He is here to wash you with the Word. The Holy Ghost makes you different, are you whole? God is working on us. Take time and do what the Word tells you to do. Being overly stressed, not sleeping enough, not eating properly, and being emotionally upset can cause the chemicals in the brain to be disturbed and depression can set in. Depression, bipolar, psychosis and much more can also run in the family line but the power of Christ in us changes us. Praise Him now everybody! So you take your medicine if you need it and stay in the Word. John 8:32 "And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." It is important to live; you need to have joy sometimes, you need to have peace sometimes, you have to have a breakthrough! Have some "talk" therapy. Talk it out, talk out what happened and what hurt you, then you can experience real forgiveness. The Holy Ghost comes in on a glad heart. It is difficult to come in if you are angry. If you are "in control" then God doesn't have any room in there, so let Him in and let Him have the control. He wants a broken and contrite heart. Psalm 51:17 "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise."

The Word was very powerful today and brought deliverance in our souls, we all broke out in praise and thanksgiving. It is not to late to unlock yourself and unlock your doors, and let God in. Let God have control. Go ahead and walk on in the Gate is open! Ask God to Heal your broken heart. Ask God to heal your wounded spirit. Surrender it to God, lay it down before Him. Let Him carry your burden. Have you all noticed how these wonderful Words coming to us each week have been given through different vessels and each of these vessels have been pressed and squeezed, but this pressing exudes the most beautiful fragrance so pleasing to God. It is in these suffering moments that they are surrendered to God completely and He fills them with His power (anointing) and Word. We love you Co Pastor Lane and our effectual fervent prayers have bombarded the gates of hell and no weapon formed against you shall prosper. These bold prayers have reached the Throne of grace on your behalf and God has given you mercy and grace to help in your time of need. Be Blessed and Healed in Jesus' Name.

2 Cor 4:17 "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory..."

I am praying this prayer for all of us: 1 Thess 5:23 "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Love,

Sis. Jane

It's Time to Get Past This

Hello Everybody!

Wow, God has been moving so powerfully for us here at GWOD. Today, God was letting us know that He is on the Throne and no matter what you are going through, whether good or bad, He is in control. Eldress Ollie gave us a word on the Majesty and Greatness of our God saying that with His enormous magnitude of light and power, there is nothing too hard for our God! Our "Love and Freedom" services culminated today with Pastor James Davis, Co Pastor Gwen Davis, and the Free Pentecostal House of Prayer Church bringing to God worship and to us a powerful message on deliverance and encouragement called "It's Time to Get Past This." Pastor James Davis preached this message from 1 Sam 30:1-8.  He moved all over the church in the anointing, just like a fireball leaping from the pulpit to wherever God led him. God confirmed this Word by bringing deliverance to many and encouragement to all of us.

1 Sam 30:1-8 "And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire; 2 And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way. 3 So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives. 4 Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep. 5 And David's two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite. 6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. 7 And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech's son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David. 8 And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all."

Pastor James Davis stated that when somebody encourages you it lasts a little while, however there will be times that you will need to encourage yourself in the Lord as David did. David and his men had returned from the North, after having been rejected from joining the Philistine army, only to find that the Amalekites had invaded Ziklag, and burned it to the ground. They took captive all of their women and children. All was lost and David was in great distress. The people spoke of stoning him and all support was gone. David and his men had cried to the point where they could cry no more. But David encouraged himself in the LORD and enquired of the LORD. God answered and told him to pursue after the Amalekites and encouraged him that he would overtake them and recover all. He pursued and overtook them and recovered all just as God had said.

We have to go through trouble too as God is making us. We think we don't have to go through some things, but yes, we have to suffer. Jesus suffered and so will we. Put your trust in the Lord, He has everything in His hands. David and his men were expecting to come home and find family but instead found the whole city was burned and their loved ones were taken captive. Pastor James Davis went on to explain that our thoughts are not His thoughts and our ways are not His ways. Isaiah 55:8-9 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." We have to go through some "stuff" to know God. It is time to get past "this" (anything you are going through, a hindrance) and put your trust in the Lord. We will suffer but remember that the devil had to get permission to touch Job. God is in control and everything happens for our making. Instead encourage yourself in the Lord, seek His instruction, and be strengthened by Him.

2 Cor 4:8-10 "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body." When you are going through, no matter what, you owe God a praise! The Lord will fight your battle. You will come out. Come out with both hands up to God in Praise. Pastor Davis made an analogy between the Spirit man and the flesh man. In Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:" God spoke the Word which is Spirit (God's Spoken Word). In Genesis 2: "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." God formed the man, which is flesh (formed man). Pastor James Davis said, "Don't go through your trial in the flesh man (Gen 2), you have to go through in the Spirit man (Gen 1). Change the atmosphere of your situation by responding in the Spirit man. In Him we have our life and being. Acts 17:28 "For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring." Don't keep uprooting yourselves by responding in the flesh man. Work out your own soul's salvation by His Spirit. If you are doing something for the Lord just to be seen, or you are doing it for yourself, or you are hiding a sin, watch out because your sin will find you out, the devil will point it out. God will make it known. Luke 12:2-3 "For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. 3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops." Numbers 32:23 "But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out." May I add that many times these and other sins go unnoticed or unexposed in front of mankind here on this earth and will be revealed only on Judgement day. Rom 2:16 "In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel." 1 Tim 5:24 "Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after."

Pastor Davis ended by saying that it is time to get past some "stuff" and get back what has been destroyed. He said, "Operate in the Genesis 1 Spirit man and speak it. Encourage yourselves, you have to leap to get over the hurdle, so leap for your deliverance, leap for you healing!" Praise, shouting, and leaping broke forth from this preached Word and God moved mightily in deliverance. Co Pastor McCarty added that Genesis 1 was God's creative Word and Power and Genesis 2 was God's work of forming man and breathing life into him. Change the atmosphere by saying, "Let there be light."

Pastor Crowder added that we will suffer in the flesh, suffer with Christ. Your suffering will cause you to lose a bad attitude, pride, etc. You lose yourself and gain the Spirit man. You will cease from sin. Suffering takes away religious zeal. You will testify of the Goodness of God and not the woes of your long sad story.

Well, what a powerful Word, so please act upon it, speak it, and may I add, get out of the "this" (problem, trial, or sin) and get into the "this it that" (Spirit, Holy Ghost power). Acts 2:16-18 "But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my hand maidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy..." I love all of you dearly. Encourage yourselves in the Lord and do something nice for somebody today, go out of your way to Bless them. Continue to pray for those that are sick and those that are in prison that they be released from their pain and spread this Word to them. Spread God's Word to all people.

Love,

The Wind of the Holy Ghost

Hello Everybody!

We were honored to have Apostle J. R. Bowens and Pastor Regina Bowens with us today. We have been strengthened and encouraged by the Word brought to us from this Man of God. Don't you feel compelled to go deeper with the Lord? God really moved for  the men today at GWOD. It was so exciting to see our men loosed and on fire running through the building. I could feel God's strength and protection coming through these men. Don't lose this Men of God, we need to see all of you strong in the Lord. The men were exhorted to be the head of the home. 1 Cor. 11:3 "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." However, we are to remember that in the Spirit in the church there is neither male nor female. Gal 3:26-28 " For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Radical praise went forth before Apostle Bowens spoke. The more we praised God the more He responded and filled us with His Spirit to do His work. Pastor Crowder had eyes to see and ears to hear, demonstrating and correcting us in this area of listening to God in order to have His eyes and ears before moving out to minister to souls in need of prayer or deliverance. She encouraged us to let the service move ahead by the Spirit only and to not go ahead in the flesh just because you have a "Title" or a "Gift." Pastor Crowder said, "We must hear from God and be more sensitive to what God wants and let Him move. Religion fights against the true Gospel. It feels it is already delivered and won't reach out for more. A doubtful spirit should not be praying for a soul. Everybody does not have the gift of casting out devils, so don't do anything out of ignorance. When God has you praying with a soul, stay there praying for that soul, the anointing doesn't run away, flesh runs away too soon!" She stirred us to get all of God that we can; reach for more, even if you were full of Him last night, reach for more today. You can never have too much of God. We can't get enough of God! Release yourself when you come up for prayer and take all you can get!

Co Pastor McCarty added that dynamite is dangerously powerful when you set it off. If we all let the Holy Ghost loose in here there would be a Holy Ghost explosion. It only takes one person to be in control of the dynamite and that is God. Let Him control it.

Apostle Bowens gave honor to Pastor Crowder and our Leaders for continuing strong in the deliverance ministry, saying that it is important to recognize people of honor, they did not get "voted in" but were chosen by God. He said there are so many "new" ways for deliverance out there now and that church has become like a theatre or a celebrity hour. A lot of letter but no power. God wants the church effective and you must have deliverance in the house. The Kingdom is about souls, and everybody must be delivered, made free, and made holy. He put all of this in perspective by saying, "If it is new it isn't true." We know there is nothing new under the sun! Being saved and not filled is a religious spirit. You have to get filled. There is a generation that does not know about the Holy Ghost. "It is not about how much you know or how well you sing or preach, if you don't have the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues you are going to hell." There are preachers preaching the Gospel with no Holy Ghost, sexual abusers and everything else in the pulpit all for monetary profit.

Apostle Bowens' message of encouragement and strength "God Meant it for Good" came from the following Scriptures:

Gen 50:20-21 "But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. 21 Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them."
Psalm 119:67 "Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word."
Psalm 119:71 "It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes."

He went on to say that Intercessors are going to be born, not any "Title stuff" but instead people whom God chooses who will get up at night and cry out to Him, praying so hard that Glory comes in and changes the atmosphere of that place. You must be worked on to preach. You must go through trials to preach. God is telling us "The thing I took from you, I meant it for your good. The pain you have, I mean it for your good. Don't let any of these things stop you from coming to church, I mean it for your good. Instead pray and fast, intercede."

He prophesied that there is going to be a revival, a different kind of revival where only the Holy Ghost functions in His church, not flesh. The Holy Ghost will talk! Don't be moved by what is going on all around you in the world or in other churches. You are in a deliverance church, be Praising God everyday. Shout even when you don't feel it. Pray and demand that the Holy Ghost shows up. God will correct us to get the "bad" out of us and He will allow afflictions to bring the best out of us. We must "die" and give God everything. He gives us cars, homes, etc. and we don't give Him our cars, homes, etc. These things are given to us for His use and we are selfish.

We were "cleaned up" today by the Word and encouraged to reach deeper and higher in the Holy Ghost in our work and dedicated service for the souls of men. We have been encouraged to breathe again, a second breath, a second wind. Be Blessed and flow in the Wind of the Holy Ghost. Continue to pray, praise, worship and let God have control. He knows best. Let's walk in His truth and love at all times. I love you much.

Love,
Sis. Jane

Work With That Soul

Hello everybody at GWOD,

God took us to Glory today! We had a wonderful move of the Holy Ghost this morning at GWOD and we thank God for having His Holy Way. Yokes were broken. If you have been "timing" when things "should happen" during the services, well, you will quickly realize that God is not into tradition and is not bound by time or programs. He is fresh and alive and moves when and how He wants to. The only thing that you should "time" is getting there on time. If you know anybody that dreads going to church please invite them to GWOD! God certainly is not a dread and when God has His way in a church, you are in for the best surprise of you life, because He is always on time and He will show you His Greatness in the supernatural. If church is traditional, mundane, and boring, then that is not God, that would instead be flesh. Now I suppose someone could still feel that going to church is a dread even while attending GWOD, but that person should keep on coming because God will break the yoke that is keeping him bound.

God moved mightily in the Worship as Pastor Crowder sang song after song until God had His Way. Then Minister Roselind continued to minister in song. Many were moved by the Spirit and helped others break through and get their release. Sis. Love reminded all of us that God is putting us in a new place, a new position and that we are to go there speedily. Don't forget the Gate is open! Many stepped in today. Pastor explained that we must "give up" and let God do it.

Minister Cynthia continued in this vein of worship and taught from Luke 10:25-34. "And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. 28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right; this do, and thou shalt live. 29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour? 30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. 33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, 34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him."

Minister Cynthia explained that we must meet the needs of our neighbor. Who is your neighbor? May I say, Everybody! We are to show compassion, just as this Samaritan did. It does not matter who, what, where, when, why, or how; just help that person in need. Who can you help today? There are needs in the church, in the work place, on the street, and everywhere. We must minister to our neighbor and show the love of Christ to them. Sis. Cynthia said, "If you know the Spirit of the Lord, you can minister to them. Put the Word into action!" She explained fully the state of the Samaritan people at that time and how they were rejected by their own people. When the ten tribes had been taken captive to Assyria, many of them intermingled with foreigners and had a religious mixture of Judaism and idolatry. They also intermarried with the foreigners and retained idolatrous customs. They were therefore despised by the Jewish people.

Co Pastor Lane spoke on rejection and brought it very close to our own hearts. She said that the Samaritan had himself been rejected from his people and therefore could feel compassion for the man that fell among the thieves and chose to help him; a rejected person knows what it is like to be rejected and can use these feelings to help others. She mentioned the four Hebrew boys Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah who refused the king's meat and these same three Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had refused to bow down and worship the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up, therefore they were thrown into the burning fiery furnace, and Daniel also refusing to bow to any other god and continuing to pray on his knees to God three times a day in front of an open window even after a decree was written against this, causing him to be thrown into the lion's den (Dan 1-3, and 6). God was with each one of them and delivered them in each instance. Everybody else bowed down to this image except for these four and God's favor was upon them. He used them to deliver a people for His Name's sake.

She exhorted us not to forget that we too used to "bow down" and "worship" the god of this world before God changed our hearts, so therefore not to be prejudice or unaccepting toward those that are still in the world. We must not reject them but instead have compassion on them and help them. We have been saved and delivered in order to help others to be saved and delivered. The Samaritan had experienced rejection and hatred and because of this, he understood how to help another person who was in great distress. The same goes for us, we should take our own feelings of rejection and use it to help others.

Pastor Crowder then exhorted us not to be picky when choosing whom to help! "Pour the Word and oil on that area that needs help [meanness, lust, etc.] and put them on your beast." In other words be like the Samaritan and help the person out of their problem or sin by giving them the Word and some oil (Holy Ghost anointing). Let them "ride on your back," they have been robbed (by Satan) and left for dead. It takes time to work with a soul, sometimes years. Work with them and take that soul to their end destination, until they have rest. They don't have what you have (Jesus), they have been robbed. You have to get down where the dirt is, into the "nice nasty" and help them get their minds right. Then they will see and begin to forgive themselves. She explained that there should be something in you like a "search light" searching out every person and each of their needs so you can minister to them.

With all of God's Blessings being poured out on us each week at GWOD it is so necessary that we spread this love and compassion out to others. It made my day to see the Cruses and their friends. Let's continue to grow in our relationships with each other. Continue to walk in the Spirit and help others, search them out and stay with them until they are strong in the Lord. By the way, that "search light" mentioned above is the Holy Ghost at work in you!  I love all of you very much.

Love,

Sis. Jane

Feasting and Fasting

Hello everybody,

We had a powerful five-course Feast today at GWOD beginning with fervent prayer followed by Scripture with Worship, teaching, powerful preaching and ending with a refreshing serving of fruit, the fruit of the Spirit in joyful Praise and Worship. The miraculous thing about this Feast was that the food, from the hors d'oeuvres to the dessert, all had the Meat of the Word with Anointing and Power. We tasted and saw that the LORD is good. There was plenty for all who came and not one that tasted this "food" left hungry. My cup is still overflowing, I hope yours is too! This Feast is the result of a Fast. We have been Fasting from the flesh and from the things of this world and turning to God in intercessory prayer, seeking His Face. When we seek His face He Blesses us Powerfully.

The lesson began with Dan 1:5, 8-17. Sis. Crumbley explained the details of the captivity of these four young Hebrew boys in Babylon and Co Pastor Lane pointed out that if we are in the lion's den or in the fiery furnace we are not to fear. We will stand strong because of our heritage in Christ. The four Hebrew boys were in captivity but it had nothing to do with who they were or what they had done. In fact, God's favor was with these four and they were taken by King Nebuchadnezzar's chief eunuch because they were skillful in all wisdom, cunning in knowledge, and in understanding science. Therefore they were chosen to stand in the king's palace and learn the language of the Chaldeans. These skillful and cunning abilities were from God. Daniel was not afraid to ask for permission to deny the king's meat because he had been "trained" in the Mosaic Law for many years before they were taken into captivity. God was with him and he chose to remain faithful to God. Co Pastor Lane said to remember what you have been "trained in" (God's Word, Grace through Jesus) so that when you are going through a trial, you will not be touched by the flames nor will you fear the lions, because God is with you. What you are going through, God will use for the deliverance of others. In summary, the four Hebrew boys stayed separated unto God by abstaining from the portion of the king's meat. They were not going to defile themselves. God gave these four boys favor and gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. Please read Dan 1:5, 8-17.

All of our abilities come from God and He will use us to deliver others as we continue to stay separated unto Him and not partake in the things of this world that defile our minds or our bodies. We are the temple of the Holy Ghost and we are to be Holy even as He is Holy. We must never defile our minds or bodies. Sis. Crumbley stated, "These four held firm to what God had taught them. We too must hold firm to everything we have been taught." I would like to say that there are repercussions for ignoring God's directives and willfully choosing sin. The Word says in Gal 6:7, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." What are you sowing? Ask yourself that question! Then ask God to help you to sow whatever pleases Him; things such as repentance, confessing your faults, obedience, teachability, holy living, worship, prayer, service, witnessing, forgiveness, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, goodness, gentleness, faith, meekness, temperance, studying the Word, spreading the Word and much more!

The lesson went on to Matt 6:16-18 "Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; 18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly."

Sis. Crumbley mentioned that fasting lets you know where you are with God. She also brought up the "alloy and gold" teaching from Pastor Crowder explaining that when we go though trials, we become stronger. The alloy (trial) is necessary to strengthen and stabilize the gold (you). Gold, the pure metal is too soft on its own and it is therefore necessary to combine it with other metals so it can be used in many ways. God uses these trials to make us strong and ready for His work.

Next came a power packed Word preached by Co Pastor McCarty straight from God's mouth to us. He began by saying that he was still Feasting on last weeks prophetic Word spoken by Pastor Crowder as she had prophesied, "The Gate is open, go in." He went on to say that some of us have not gone in, even though the Gate is open. He encouraged all of us to walk on in!

He continued preaching from 2 Sam 9:3-8 "And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet. 4 And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lodebar. 5 Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lodebar. 6 Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant! 7 And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually. 8 And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?"

Co Pastor McCarty spoke concerning Mephibosheth's words, "What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?" He explained that some of us are feeling this same way, so unworthy that we are not going in through the Gate. God is saying "Come in, you have an Inheritance" and we feel so unworthy that we don't go in. It is like a dog that has been chained to a tree, running in circles year after year. When the owner takes the chain off the dog, he still runs in circles around the tree thinking he is still chained to it. Stand up and walk through the Gate, it is open. The chain is broken. It is time to get up from this place of your past hurts and go in. It doesn't matter how you feel, the King has called you to come up higher. The King had summoned Mephibosheth, it didn't matter that he felt like a "dead dog" and had been crippled due to his nurse dropping him at age five. Go in today and embrace your future. What has hurt you? What is it that keeps you running in circles like the dog chained to the tree? What invisible chain is holding you? You have been released, you are free from this confinement. God wants you to get up from that place and do His work. Say now, "I'm releasing this hurt, I'm releasing this pain."

David remembered his covenant with Jonathan and called for Mephibosheth to come. Mephibosheth obeyed and came. King David told him not to fear and showed him kindness for Jonathan, his father's sake and restored to him all of Saul's land and gave him a seat at the King's table so he could eat bread continually. This is what God is saying to us, "The Gate is open, go in." Let's Praise Him now. He is saying, "I am here." This is a picture of what Jesus has done for us, so step into you Inheritance. We have been encouraged to leave Lodebar, our place of safety. Lodebar helped you while you were hurt, but now God is calling you to come out of that lonely and isolated place. You were taken care of by others in Lodebar, but it is now time for you to leave that place and step in the Gate and learn from God for yourself. He is taking you to another place in Him and He will restore you and teach you. You are no longer an outcast, the chain is broken, you are free at last. John 10:10 "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

Matt 11:28-29 "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."

We ended with Eph 1:3 "Blessed be the God and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:" Praise and Worship broke forth throughout the house and God was pleased. Keep praising Him and if you have not gone in the Gate yet, please go in now, He is there waiting for you. Both the visible and the invisible chains that were holding you back from His Inheritance have been broken, so walk on in. Thank Him for Blessing us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. We have Feasted today, but tomorrow's menu includes some Fasting. So put away your fleshly desires and seek Him even more and watch how He responds with His love. I love you all very much.

Love,
Sis. Jane

Celebrate Your Uniqueness in Christ Jesus, Don't Imitate Others, Imitate Jesus

Hello all at GWOD,

God woke me up last night with these words, "Celebrate your uniqueness in Christ Jesus, don't imitate others, imitate Jesus." So I went to the Word to clarify the meaning. I read Psalm 145 and here it is:

"1 I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. 2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. 3 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. 4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. 5 I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. 6 And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness. 7 They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness. 8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. 9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. 10 All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and the saints shall bless thee. 11 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; 12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. 13 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. 14 The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. 15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou gives them their meat in due season. 16 Thou openest thine hand, and satisfies the desire of every living thing. 17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. 18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. 19 He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him; he also will hear their cry, and will save them. 20 The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. 21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever."

We are to talk of His goodness and celebrate Him, because we truly are unique in Him because of what Jesus has done for us through His death and resurrection so that we could have life and that life abundantly. There is no other way to heaven, only through Jesus. We must know Jesus, be filled with His Spirit, and walk as He walked. 1 John 2:6 "He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked."

I looked up the words celebrate, unique, and imitate:
Celebrate means: to do something special or enjoyable for an important event, occasion, holiday, etc.; to praise (someone or something); to say that (someone or something) is great or important; to perform (a religious ceremony); to honor (as a holiday) especially by solemn ceremonies or by refraining from ordinary business; to mark (as an anniversary) by festivities or other deviation from routine; to hold up or play up for public notice.

Unique means: being the only one, sole; being without a like or equal, unequaled; distinctively characteristic, peculiar; unusual.

Imitate means: to follow as a pattern, model, or example; to be or appear like, resemble; to produce of copy of, reproduce; mimic, counterfeit.

So I'm sharing this with all of you, "Celebrate your uniqueness in Christ Jesus, don't imitate others, imitate Jesus." Break up your routine and praise Him by speaking of his Goodness publicly. We truly are unique in Him and by the Holy Ghost in us we are able to become more like Him. We are to imitate Jesus in every way, by the power of the Holy Ghost in us. Imitating Jesus also means that we should follow those following Christ Jesus. Paul says in 1 Cor 11:1 "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ."

Notice that the last part of the definition for the word imitate, says counterfeit. Remember that the devil imitates, mimics, and is himself a counterfeit and has a counterfeit for everything Holy that God has (see 2 Cor 11:13-15). Don't follow the devil or his workers. That is why we are given this blessing and warning. Thank God that we have the True Gospel of Jesus Christ being taught at GWOD by True Leaders and Ministers that seek God daily.

In closing, 1 Peter 2:9-10 says "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy."

Keep praying fervently one for another. I love you very much. Let's continue to celebrate and imitate Jesus!

Love, Sis. Jane

The Gate Is Open, Go In

Hello everybody at GWOD,

The King of Glory stepped in this morning during Sunday school proclaiming, "The Gate is open!" Do you understand it? God is saying, "I am here, come on in." The Gate is open and we'd better step in! I'm expecting all kinds of miracles at GWOD as we all step in through the Gate. Don't let any one of us miss going through the Gate. If you see someone standing at the entrance not knowing that the Gate is open for them to enter, please help them through. Here is what happened!

We were studying the following verses from James 5:13-18, "Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 14 Is any sick among you: let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if ye have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit."

Eldress Ollie was pointing out the need to confess our faults one to another, not being ashamed or afraid. She also encouraged us to confess, "I am the Righteousness of Christ through what Jesus has done for me." Pastor Crowder then stood up to say that we are overcomers and that God wants us to go up a step. God wants to take us higher, not just a repeat of the ordinary in our church services or in our lives, but higher! This is when the King of Glory stepped in strong and mighty proclaiming, "The Gate is open!" Pastor explained that God wants us to step up (go higher in the Spirit) and go through the Gate (into His Presence and fullness). God took every sin upon Himself and He has saved us and sanctified us, so He is saying, "Come in!" Go in church, the Gate is open day and night. We are Righteous because of what He has done for us. When He ascended back up into heaven the Gate was opened. We are standing just outside of the Gate knocking and He wants us to go in, so step in and let the King of Glory take over your life. Here are the Scriptures that were given to us, along with their meaning:

Psalm 24:4-10 "He that hath clean hand, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. 7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. 9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah." We are going to see the blessings of the Lord. You have freedom and victory, so lift up your heads. You're not bound anymore. The Gate of God's deliverance is open to you today. He is mighty and strong in battle.

Isaiah 60:11 "Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought." Gates shall be opened continually, continually, continually... Whatever you need is open to you day or night. Whoever needs deliverance, just go in, He is there.

Isaiah 62:10 "Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people." Go through the gate and be renewed. Take another step up! Give up everything that is messing with your life, speak to it and lift up a standard. First you go through the gate, then you can help others and someone else can be saved.

Isaiah 26:2-5 "Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. 3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever; for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength: 5 For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust." He opened the gates for you, now you open the gates for someone else. God has already moved and opened those gates thousands of years ago. Shout! Praise God! Trust Him. He will either destroy the lofty city (your enemy) or bring the "problem" down low so that you can deal with it. He is your everlasting strength.

Psalm 24:1-3 "The earth is the LORD'S and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. 3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?" We have to think and act like we belong to God, don't sit back and let the devil have everything. Shouting "wars" the enemy, it shuts the devil up. God is saying that He has given us the keys to the Kingdom. Look above (to Him), down here it (the problem, sickness, etc.) is broken, but when you look down from above, it is already fixed. We are too low and can't see the finished work. Look up, go up, get up in the Spirit and let God fix it.

Isaiah 60:1-8 "Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. 4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. 5 Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee. 6 The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come; they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD. 7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory. 8 Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?" Get in a Spiritual place with God and your light will shine for all to see. The enemy will see God's glory on you. Don't let you head hang down nor worry about the people you have been praying for, just arise and shine. Get in the Spirit. You can't be in the carnal when you are up in the Spirit. When you are up high (in the Spirit) with God and not down there (in the problem), then you can just call out their names and speak by faith. While you are obeying, God is doing the work. It is already done! He is the Power, so just call on Him and speak it out by faith. Flow with the Lord and you will see His Power. Praise Him! Bless Him! Go up in the Spirit, in the Spirit it is already fixed. God will supply their need and yours too, don't fear. Jesus paid the price for us and the Gate is open. God invites us to "Come in" all without a price, day and night! Being with Jesus is the sweetest place to be and when you are with Him in the Spirit you have given Him the accepted offering and you have gone in through the Gate. Real intercession causes you to "fly" above the situation; you will dream dreams of flying above, looking above the situation. Praise God. You will draw souls by lifting up the Name of Jesus.

Isaiah 60:15-17 Whereas thou has been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. 16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. 17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness." You will be hated by many, but go through it "looking up" and see what God will do with you. The Gentiles will be blessing you! Start gleaning and He will bring a Boaz. Use the instruments God has given you. Ask God to remove all hinderances.

Wow, what a powerful Word. Shout out with me, "We have stepped up and we have gone in through the Gate, we Praise You God for Your open Gate, You are that Gate and we are standing in Your Presence" When we get a Word like this, God approves it and confirms it with testimonies. I expect God to stretch forth his hand with signs and wonders, divers miracles, and the gifts of the Holy Ghost moving strongly and mightily through us in great exploits of love and compassion all according to God's will. Remember to delight yourself also in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way unto the Lord, trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Pray and intercede fervently one for another and be doers of His Word. I love all of you very much.

Love,
Sis. Jane

Freedom In Christ

Hello all at GWOD,

Last night, I heard something on the radio that stated, "We each have as much of God as we want." I was not able to listen to this broadcast because I had to leave my car or else be late for work! So right now I have been thinking about that statement, which is in line with what Pastor MC Davis preached, "How badly do you want it?" This statement, along with Pastor MC Davis' question, speaks volumes to us concerning how much of God you and I will actually have and experience. We have as much as we are willing to pursue. Oh, don't get me wrong, God's fullness is there for us, but most of us are satisfied with what we have. It is not enough, we must have more of God and more of the fullness of Christ in us. Jesus says, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Matt 7:7-8.

Can you see that this means asking for more of Him, not asking Him for more from Him! It means seeking Him much more than we are doing, not seeking Him for what we can get from Him! It means knocking for more of Him, not knocking for more from Him. This should be our number one prayer, because when we have more of God in our lives and more of His fulness, the fullness of the Holy Ghost in us, then everything else will be taken care of. "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matt 6:33.

This takes some work on our part, "Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." Jer 29:12-13.

We are all called to be ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and this will come from God's sufficiency, not our own. I looked up the word minister which is from the Greek word diakonos. It means servant. Therefore we are all called to be servants. So let's seek Him to be able to do all that He is calling us to do. We just observed Martin Luther King Jr. Day and our Freedom services are coming up in Feb. and I was inspired to look up Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech (preached Word) "I Have a Dream." Talk about a servant of God doing the work God had ordained for his life! If you haven't watched it in its entirety recently, please watch it again. What are you and I going to do with our lives. Let's get prostrate before the Lord and seek His face like never before. Here is the link to this preached Word, "I Have a Dream." http://youtu.be/smEqnnklfYs It was a peaceful demonstration, but I see it as a powerful church service.

It is sad to see that the world is still in the dark ages concerning freedom, not only in racial issues but in all aspects of compassion for human life, due to the lack of Jesus in their lives. Without Jesus people are lost and many resort to heinous actions. Only Jesus Christ can make a person free. "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." 2 Cor 3:17. "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." John 8:36.

We are to be His servants walking in liberty, spreading His Word of Salvation in Jesus to the lost. This will be done through prayer first and then as we are filled with His fullness, the Holy Ghost in us will use our mouths and our feet to minister/serve others; all in love and all in the Name of Jesus. How much of God do you have? How much of God do you want? Will you seek Him and find Him, so that He can show you His fullness for your lives and give you the fullness of His Power to carry out His will for each of your lives? As Pastor Crowder said, "Do what God has you doing until He gives you the next assignment." As we seek Him daily, He will show us each step of the Way. Be Blessed and pray one for another. Love you very much.

Love, Sis. Jane

How Badly Do You Want It?

Hello everybody at GWOD,

We were so blessed to have Pastor and Co Pastor MC Davis, Apostle Helen Bedford, and Word of Power Outreach Church with us this afternoon at GWOD. What an action stirring message they had for us concerning "How badly do you want it?" meaning God's Will for our lives and the fullness of the Holy Ghost to carry it out. The Worship team encouraged us through prophetic songs, to put our worries down and to keep moving, to keep moving forward with no turning back, and not to look back.

Pastor MC Davis began by asking us "How badly do you want it? Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die..." He said a seed must die. You have to be broken in order to grow.  John 12:24-26 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour." When the seed is in the soil, the shell breaks open and the root grows down and up comes the sprout.

He gave an example of aggressive desire from Judges 14:1-7, how that Samson desired this women from Timnath (it was of the LORD, to work against the Philistines) so much that even a young lion that was roaring against him could not stop him. The Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him and he rent the lion as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand. Scripture explains it below:

Judges 14:1-7 "And Samson went down to Timnath, and saw a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines. And he came up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me to wife. Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines: And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well. But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel. Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him. And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done. And he went down, and talked with the woman; and she pleased Samson well."

Pastor MC Davis went on to say that faith is active, and mentioned one of David's mighty men, Benaiah, who also slew a lion in a pit on a snowy day. 1 Chron 11:22 "Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done many acts; he slew two lionlike men of Moab: also he went down and slew a lion in a pit in a snowy day." This was an example of aggressive faith, being that he slew a lion in the snow! He went on to say, "It is time to go for it, no matter what it takes. Quit wrestling with God and let Him clean you up and then fill you. He doesn't fill dirty cups! Your mess has to come to the surface. We will see our own mess in our praises, in our running, or in our dance, that is good, then He can clean us up. There will be a breaking, then a cleansing, and then a filling with the Holy Ghost." Praise Him now everybody.

So let's repeat it again church, "Wash me God because I have to have it." I have to have God's Will for my life and the fullness of His Holy Ghost in my life.  Not my own will and not any fleshly solutions. That means going all the way with Him, by dying to self, to flesh, and to the world and following Christ Jesus. Let Him fill you with the Holy Ghost and your cup overflowing. Clean on the inside and the outside.

MC Davis mentioned that he is not "in favor!" of all night prayer, but that it is very necessary at times. Minister Alvina whispered in my ear a very heartfelt word, saying that this is all part of the process, which is the breaking of the flesh in order to desire to pray all night, we don't want to do it but we will do it anyway. It is true that most people do not like staying up all night to pray but it is necessary, Jesus did it and we can follow His example. Again the question is, "How badly do you want it?" Co Pastor McCarty added that we have a knock out punch in our weakest hour.

I like what Apostle Helen Bedford said as she was reiterating to us "How badly do you want it?" She said, "I'm realizing how badly I need it!" How badly do you and I need it? She said we need to position ourselves for the coming of the Lord. First humble yourselves, get rid of pride. Then go before the Lord in prayer and seek His face. Turn from all evil ways. Then God will hear and then He will allow Righteousness and Sanctification to come into the house. Sounds very much like 2 Chron 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Well, let's get on our knees GWOD and let God wash us even more for we are Christ's Body. What are you willing to "die to" daily in answer to His call in your life? How much are you really seeking His face? Intercessory prayer? All night prayer? How badly do you want to serve Jesus and your neighbor? Do you love God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength and love your neighbor as yourself? These are some humbling questions for sure and we will give our answers to God alone. May I leave you with this encouraging Scripture, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." Phil 1:6. Love you all very much.

Don't Shake Your Fruit Tree (Part 2)

Hello all at GWOD,

I hope you and pray you are all doing well today. Let me continue with Pastor Crowder's interpretation of Elderess Jefferson's dream (see Part 1 for the dream). Pastor explained that the tree represented Sis. Jefferson and the fruit was all of her labors, her ministry, and everything connected with it. She is not to shake the tree by moving out of God's will, for she could lose the precious fruit by jolting them to the ground and then would have to start all over. Instead she is to stay in God's will for her life so that this fruit can stay on the tree and grow and mature in abundance and sweetness. Pastor then explained that this dream is good for all of us and took us deeper into the meaning of the sufferings that come to each of us as the Lord is making us ready for His work and His assignments. We all must suffer in the Lord and we will suffer too in laboring among the people we are around, saints included, until each of us grows. This takes time and patience. You will suffer and "go through" to be made into what God wants for you. So do not shake your fruit tree and cause your fruit to fall off, be careful. The definition  of shake is the following: "The act of shaking, vibrating, jerking, or rocking. To move (an object) up and down or from side to side with rapid, forceful, jerky movements. To cause to lose stability or strength, to disturb or agitate."

So we have been exhorted that when we are suffering or "going through" we must be extremely careful not to shake the tree causing the fruit to fall. Instead be patient and know that you are being strengthened and growth is happening. It takes prayer and intercessory prayer to hold onto the growth. Praise Him during this time of growth, it is not by feeling, it is by the Holy Ghost. She explained that when flour was sifted properly in biblical times, you could put your hand through it and hardly feel it. Because of being so finely sifted, it would just fly into the air. Bless God, everybody, Bless Him again right now and Praise Him.

When our flesh is being crucified is it very painful. I cringe right now when thinking about the pains of growth but I know it is necessary in order to be purified and made more like Him. We put on Christ and die to self by crucifying the flesh, living in the world but not of the world. "And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." Luke 9:23. It is an honor to grow and be able to hear God, knowing we are the son's of God through faith in Christ Jesus and in His presence. Be joyful while you are going through the testing or trial, it is for our good.

Pastor Crowder went on to say that when Jesus was crucified, His flesh was torn but none of His bones were broken. As an illustration Pastor used the sufferings of Jesus' crucifixion to explain the sufferings you and I will experience when we are going through a trial. We will experience some of the following: Some words spoken to you will tear your flesh, some attitudes shown to you will tear you flesh, but your bones will not be broken. The nails went through His nerves. When your nerves are touched you are on edge, your flesh is being crucified. The thorns on His head were a light affliction compared to the other atrocities Jesus was suffering, these thorns are your light afflictions. You will get pierced in the side and be handed vinegar and gall. We have to go through these sufferings in order to serve Him. Don't back up from the trials or the crucifying of your flesh, endure it with Jesus. He is with you and in you. Below are the scriptures God gave to Pastor Crowder by the Holy Ghost during the service and the explanation of each, all to help us as we are growing and maturing in Christ and leading others to grow and mature at the same time:

Heb 12:11-13 "Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed."

There is a place in each of us that is not healed or sanctified yet. Endure in this place that God has you in right now and let God do the work. Don't let a "Judas" step in and cause you to stumble. "Let me just pick up my purse and leave!" No! Do not listen to this voice in your head or to the "friend" whom the enemy will send to "help you" out of your pain, thereby taking you out of God's will for your life. Follow Jesus. You are dealing with people and God wants you to pray for them and help them because you are the "medicine" that they need. Be sure to give them the correct dosage for their weight (their growth level) and don't kill them with too little or too much or the wrong kind of medicine! May I add that we can share our mature fruit with them, the fruit of the Spirit. This fruit will be healing to them through our actions of love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance as we reach out to help them. Sis. Mary said, "We are a people of joy, peace and hope." Let's let Chirst's light shine through in our actions and how we live.

Deut 8:2-5 "And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD the God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandment, or no. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live. Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years. Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee."

God is saying to us: We do not live by bread alone (not by what you think) but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God (His Will and instructions for each of our lives). He has led us all these years and fed us manna (spiritual food) and we aren't delivered yet? To make it personal, He has led you through the wilderness to humble you and let you know what is in your heart, and whether you will obey Him or not. I will say it louder to HUMBLE YOU. When God humbles us it is so strong that it can upset your stomach. Tell God you hear Him! Ask for forgiveness and get into intercessory prayer to break up that fallow ground; ground that has been pointed out to you, but that has not been broken up yet in deliverance. Be obedient. Pastor Crowder has to obey God and touch our inner man with correction, she is pruning each of our trees and she made it clear that she is not shaking our trees because there is some precious fruit on these trees that needs to grow and mature. Obeying God will make room for new fruit to grow too (our next assignment from God). Don't judge God's leaders and please leave Moses's seat alone, unless of course God has put you there!

Psalm 119:71-73 "It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments." God is working on you and you are growing to perfection. Say out loud, "Lord deliver me so I can be a light to the world." Thank Him.

Isaiah 11:1-3 "And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:" Jesus comes forth in us and give us a quick understanding. So whip the devil and kick him out! Follow God's leading.

Psalm 119:67-68 "Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word. Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes." This means that we were in a mess before we were afflicted and with the affliction we have double trouble. But He did not leave us in this condition. Pray: I'm keeping your Word now Lord, teach me the right way. Praise Him and thank Him.

Exodus 15:25-27 "And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD showed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them, And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that health thee. And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters." The tree here is a symbol of the cross and it sweetens the souls of men, the Blood of Jesus makes it sweet.

Do you all see what a rich word we received and how it was given by His Spirit and confirmed in His Word? Only God could do that so perfectly. God was answering our prayers and if we have an ear and do what is right today, we will come into that peaceful place there by the Water.

So let me ask you now, how is your fruit? Is it growing? Are you being careful not to shake your fruit tree, but instead staying in the will of God and being obedient to Him? Are you watering your tree with the Word and fertilizing it with prayer, intercessory prayer, praise and worship, and labors of love in the Holy Ghost as God directs? Is your fruit firmly connected so it can grow and mature? Are you keeping the deadly pests away from it? Is your fruit abundant and sweet? Stay in the will of God and you will be healthy and produce an abundance of sweet fruit that only God can bring about and it will be sweetened by Jesus; by the Blood of Jesus, His Perfect Sacrifice for us so that we can have eternal life in Him.

Be Blessed and Strengthened today and remember suffering for Christ is a good thing. We cannot stay the same after a word like this. When you are in a battle whether it is of your own choosing or not, make a loud cry unto God. He will never leave you nor forsake you. "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." Deut 31:6. Love you very much.

Love, Sis. Jane
